1. No Time?
What are
you waiting for? It's Labor day and nine months have
past by since your New Years resolution. Are you still
being
a couch potatoes? Have you been
Sipping that alcohol beverage on the couch or taking an extra helping
of your favorite holiday dessert and pondering when
to start your fitness
program. Don't blame it on your job or the kids. You can always
break up the time into smaller increments, say 5,10
or 15 minutes and still receive
health benefits.

2. NO ENERGY!
Regular
exercise will boost your energy level throughout the
day. Adding muscle with strength training will help
you burn more fat. In fact, by adding
one pound of lean muscle you will lose five pounds of fat in one
year. whereas, adding five pounds of muscle will burn
off 26 pounds of fat in one year.

3. TOO EXPENSIVE!
Okay,
let's list your vices. what do you like too indulge
in each day. Gourmet coffee,bagels and lunch with a
friend .Lottery tickets,dinner out, drinks,cigarettes,
sodas, newspaper and magazine subscriptions If you track and total
your
spending habits per day i'm sure you can save $13-14/day for personal
training. Besides your health is your best investment
and it pays the most dividends
on your mental psyche.

4. LOVE FOOD!
Chances
are if you love to eat your probably overweight and
unhappy with
your body image. It's simple, a man who consumes an extra
216 calories per day
for one year will gain 22.5 pounds of fat in 1 year. For women,
don't get fitted yet with that tight outfit, your indulgence
of
an extra 111 calories
per day will increase your trouble spots by 11.5 pounds of fat
in one year.

5. BAD GENES!
I Know you
should have picked your parents,but unfortunately genes
only contribute 33 percent of your
shape,while the other 66.6 percent is lifestyle
habits
of food choices,shopping & cooking and exercise.

6. NO EQUIPMENT!
Your body
weight and exercise tubing and small weights are all
you need to get started!

7. OVER THE HILL!
Your only
as old as you feel mentally,but physical exercise and
proper food choices can lead you to the fountain of
youth. For example,Betty Weider,Jack La lane,Raquel
Welch and others are looking fantastic thru their 40's.50's 60's
and 70's.

IT'S BORING!
Try changing your routine with interval training,vary time increments,speed,intensity
or elevation with your cardio work and alternate light,medium and heavy
resistance with high,medium and low repetitions.

I HATE PAIN!
And so
do I, so listen to your body for warning signals of
over training and proceed slowly with George's guidance.

Don't be.That's
why your paying a trainer. Just approach each session with
a desire to learn and a drive to succeed as you overcome
every obstacle toward your goal. |
